Why Surfers Love Tua Pejat

The Tua Pejat Surf Zone is centered around the west coast of Sipora Island and the Mentawai capital of Tuapejat. While Playgrounds is known for its concentration of waves, Tua Pejat is known for producing some of the longest and most high-performance left-handers in the Mentawais. It offers a mix of world-class reef breaks, luxurious island accommodations, and relatively easy access from the Mentawai fast ferry.

"The Tua Pejat Surf Zone combines world-class left-hand reef breaks, crystal-clear tropical waters, and easy access to the heart of the Mentawai Islands. Home to legendary waves such as Telescopes and Scarecrows, the region offers long, high-performance rides and consistent swell, making it one of the most rewarding surf zones in the Mentawai archipelago."
